In order to insert a block into your project, you should do the following:

A.     Click on the icon    in the Layers toolbar

or

B.     Choose the menu option    Draw -> Insert Block

            or

C.     Type the command INSERT in the command line and press <Enter>


Next,

if you want to enter the name of the block you want to insert then enter it's name and press <Enter>

or

if you want to choose block from the list of block names then press <Enter> and you will get a window like the one below:

 

On this screen you can either:

            Enter precise coordinates where the block will be inserted (x,y,z)

                        or

you can enable the option „Specify on screen“, click on OK or press <Enter>

                        then click on the position on screen where you want to insert the block.

 

You can insert blocks on multiple spaces and in different layers. If you want to insert a block in another layer, then choose the layer from the list prior to block insertion.
