Hi,

I was using trial version for a while and there was circle command option to construct circle with three given points (i remember that I had just to type '3' in command line after circle command). I purchased home edition few months ago, but today when I tried to draw circle with three points, it just repeats "specify center point" after I type '3' in command line. Please help. I have licensed version of babacad home ed 3.0.5.

Mathematically '< R2007' means 'less than', but not 'less or equal'. So, I said as it is. Yoi can open dwg R13, R14, R2000, R2004, R2006 in trial version. BabaCAD  Home/Enterprise licensed users can open all dwg drawings up to R2018.

Hello,

I have experience with simple CAD-software like QCAD, AutoCAD, MegaCAD (20 years ago) and SketchUp. So I'm familiar with the concepts but not with the "how-to" in BabaCAD.

So my question is where can I find example-files and tutorials how to use BABACad for 3D-construktion. How does the equivalent to sketchup-"pull/push"
(extrusion) work in babaCAD. The userinterface is quite intuitive but I did not find any functions how to create 3D-shapes like "cube" etc.

You have almost full functional trial version free to download which is also time unlimited. You can open any dxf drawing and dwg drawings of version < R2007 and version > R12. To work with new dwg drawings (up to R2018) you have to buy commercial version. Trial version can’t open latest dwg version drawings as that feature is limited by third party dwg library which is not free. If you don’t trust but you have already tried BabaCAD, then you are the first of over 150,000 users with such complains. There is always option to buy 60 times higher priced AutoCAD.

well i   was interested in your product but i couldn't even open an R7 dwg.  i started using autocad in 1983 so i'm an extremely experienced user, but im not buying anything i can't try out first.

Thanks. I didn't have large screenshots of those images, so it's ok, I just put link to the home site. Users are welcome to send screenshots of some nice dxf projects that they designed with BabaCAD. To be honest avis sur phenq , I'm not good in drafting, so I hope users will help  me to collect and prepare some decent gallery of CAD drawings.

A longtime user of BabaCad but joined the forum just now. I know that the above post is more than a year old, but do you still need some dxfs?

I found similar problem on friend's computer, and it was related to mouse scroll wheel sensitivity. It's very rare case, but I will try to solve this problem by adding configuration settings for wheel speed in the next app update. There will be System Variable MOUSEWHEELSPEED, so user can just set optimal mouse wheel speed for zooming (in 1-255 value range).

Hi,

I tried scrolling with the left mouse, does not work either. It remains stuck at the zoom it is at.


I'm sorry, but I cannot change PC-wide scrolling speed of my mouse, which will have implications on all my programs on my PC, just to adapt for 1 single application.
I hope you can see and understand this is not a practical solution for me.

The issue is also that the scroll gets stuck beyond a certain zoom. It works between different ranges, so the application in itself does scroll. Even if its fast, still it does scroll.
It does no longer scroll when I go below or above a certain zoom value.
